Disputes

  1. If you have a dispute with a merchant concerning a charge, your first step is to work with the merchant to try to resolve the issue. Document your conversations, who you speak with, and save copies of correspondence.
  2. If you cannot resolve the dispute with the merchant, call NEFCU for assistance at 800-400-8790. You must call NEFCU within 60 days of the charge first appearing on your account.

Fraud

  1. Prevent further fraud by immediately calling 800-400-8790 (available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year).
  2. Call NEFCU to speak with a Member Service Representative, to report fraudulent charges on your account.
